The irony of 07 gear to 08 gear

Last year the salomon spk boot was a big hit with all the jibbers out there. It had all the things a freeskier could want. Now for this year they decide to call it the spk kaos because they added more boots to the spk line. Salomon says it is 10% stiffer than last years.they look exactly the same but the price is way more. The honest retailers dropped there price for last years boots to about 260 and the 08 are at about 450, others just tricked the buyer to buy last years boots for the same price as this years. I was stupid and didnt take advantage of the 269 priced boots when I saw them. I went back to the sites that had them to only find that they sold out. So far the best deal i have found is with untracked.com for 319. My question for you newschoolers is, what is a site that you know of that still has 07 spk boots for less than 300? Also if anyone could hook me up with pro-form for spk boots it would be greatly appreciated. Please show some love for a newschooler who is short on cash.
 
i looked but you might be out of luck. most stores have already sold off there stock they had left...and i tried the 08 on one foot and the 06/07 on the other foot a little while back and i couldnt find a noteable difference

i went to the ski expo this weekend in Albany, NY and they had those 07 SPK boots for $200...If i had known i would have some how hooked you up, btw Alpinhaus was selling them so if yu wanna look online

 
www.untracked.com has some spk boots but they are a bit more than the other places, but hey! they actually have boots in stock, so thats good.
 
it takes the people that make the gear about 3 years to come up with any thing that is worth buyin all the shit is the same year after year so rocking last year stuff isnt that big of a deal unless the new pic on them make you a better at skiiing
 
man ill sell you my spk boots size 27.5 used maybe 15 times for 230$ there just too small for me, i got them for free last january but im a size 11 so i should be taking a 28.5
 
^yea im tryin to get hooked up im a kid who is short on cash and dont have any boots for this year. not a lot $$+No boots= no ski.Sorry to have upset you though.
 
nooo not really man, i live away from home and have little cash so if i were to sell them to that kid for 230$ did i say? then i would pile more money togehter and buy the new ones cause there great boots, they just dont fit well.... i might go back to my old 1080 boots, except those give me mad shinbang
