The iphone4 fucked me?

i got the iphone 4g last week, and somehow i already have 8.5 gb sent and 8gb received. i only downloaded 7 small apps and about 15 mins youtube streaming. thats an additional 380 something on my 60$ bill. what the fuck Bell.
this happen to anyone else?
 
Not the iPhone's fault. It's yours and Bell's. You streamed a lot of data there.

Call up Bell, if you just activated the phone, there are probably some bugs to work out.

I download tons of ap, stream lots of videos and go on the internet lots with my droid and I have never gone over my 1gb a month
 
Get used to it. Bell will fuck you in the ass if you have a contract. Pay as you go is the best option, plus its cheaper in the long run.
 
Also, Am I the only one that thought he got fucked by an iphone4? Like raped him in a dark ally.
 
thats an insane amount of data, something must be wrong there. I listen to pandora, stream youtube, email, all that shit and I usually only use 4gigs total per month
 
the only thought i have is that you left an app that constantly streams data on, and just didnt shut it off, ever
 
something is definitely wrong here. that is a RIDICULOUS amount of data to use on a phone. i've never even come close to that even when tethering my phone to my laptop and streaming netflix, etc. for a month. you shouldn't give in on this one....something isn't right. i doubt its an app because an app streaming data non-stopped shouldn't even come close to that kind of usage. i'd get on the horn with them right away - don't wait until your bill comes out. if everything is as you say it is, then something is wrong on their system.
 
I got my iPhone 4 a year ago yesterday, and they didn't give me the option to have unlimited. They got rid of it because it was bogging down the network. So now my 2gb a month is usually enough because both my workplace and home have wi-fi. Once, after downloading a shitton of porn, I went over, but unless you do that regularly, 2gb is enough.
 
Make sure you turn off the ability to automatically receive email. Thats a killer. and Youtube is a TON of GB it you watch enough...and depending on App size you may have gone over there too.

Or were you just sending too many nudes to people.
 
are you sure its Gigabytes not Megabytes? 16.5GB of usage is an ungodly amount for streaming anything... also how did you figure out your gigabyte usage
 
same here. 8 gigs is a ton of streaming. like watching 18 full movies in dvd quality streaming
 
My cup and string only costs me like 3 bucks but the service is horrible and international calls take like a grand worth of string totally not worth it.
 
i watch porn skype play live video games us ns on my phone while i poop and i have never been able to go over 4gb's
 
what the fuck do you download or stream? also are you never near a wifi connection? jesus thomas
