Hey, this is the thread to talk about skating in Illinois in. It doesn't matter if it's blading, boarding, biking, or scootering but if you do anything in a skatepark and you're from Illinois, talk about it here.

theres a few good ones. most of them are anti-blade (design wise, not people) but most of them are bigger than others ive been to. and, there's alot, theres 4 within a 10 mile radius of my house

WILSON in Chicago is rediculous, outdoor and concrete, but the bowls there are amazing, theres also an 8 set and some handrails I can spend a day there and not be bored on my board...no pun intended

there is the warp skate park in Grayslake. all indoors, just got renovated i heard. Also there is a nice outdoor one that is a huge street section and a seperate wood section. That one is in McHenry.

LOL, i used to ride at the McHenry Skate Park, it was dope, the concrete sections is real fun. i wish i still skated. it would cure my boredom for most of the summer.

ya those r both sick parks... but its way to far of a drive for me if im not there for another reason. i pretrty much stick to highland park (cuz i live there.....), northbrook, deerfield, glencoe, buffalo grove, and in the summer (starting now) i go up to whitewater, wisconsin every weekend cuz im on minneiska ski team there, so i go to that park alot

anyone know a place to get good skates cheap, i need knew ones for windells and just shreding around HP, PS(gelmo, i told powell i might sell em to him, how much u think i could get for em?)

new they're probably 150... but now u might b able to get 100 for them.... ask felix...... ANYWAYS u can get skates cheap at grindgear..... if u find a skate they have online for a cheaper price new, they'll match it on the spot u just need to bring in proof like print out the page

I have this to skate when ever i want :)
