So yeah, I've been getting a ton of pm's recently and figured it would be easier to have one thread that has all the questions and info you guys need.

So yeah, if you need to know anything that has to do with IF3, post it in here!
 
Are there alcoholic beverages served at the premiers/parties? If so, are they reasonably priced or should we do all our drinking beforehand?
 
There will be booze served throughout the whole festival (Premieres at Cinema Imperial, Salomon Party, Massive Party and NS Awards)

I'm not too sure on the prices, but it never hurts to have a few drinks beforehand. We are obviously going to try and keep them fairly reasonable, but the venues also have a say in how much we sell drinks for.

The only party that is 18+ is the Salomon one
 
Oh and also, even if a can't get a free pass or wahtever, if I can manage to get up there, can I sleep in the ns offices or something? haha
 
Negative. The hotel + vip deal is pretty cheap though....

225$ for three nights, the vip pass, three breakfasts and some ns swag
 
You should probably pre-order since there are only 250 VIP passes being sold, and tickets will be more expensive at the door.
 
i remember hearing something about a group bus thing from New York, is that still goin on or am i gonna have to drive.
 
I'd be really clutch if people worked together and carpooled. I know in Burlington we are trying to figure that out. We still have the cult going, so if you want to post up in there to find a NYer with a car, be my guest.
 
What will be the normal price for a ticket? How many screenings does it take to rentabilize your vip pass?
 
im from the 781 (weston near waltham) and if you let me bum a ride off you not only will i pay for gas, but ill be your bitch
 
^ I agree that was pretty bogus.... I know ns got bought out last year but come on, lets keep things Canadian guys...
 
We only use one currency in the store, and it has been like that since we opened. It's easier as about 95% of our orders are from the US
 
This is going to be in like my first week of school at McGill. I really want to come but I know no one in mtl. I'm thinking of buying a VIP pass, but will it be worth it to just show up alone?
 
yo i won the Bula contest so i have a ticket and i am thinking of buying a VIP as well, but i am not sure if i can afford a plane ticket all the way to montreal. me and my buddy really want to make it upthere. is there any car pools or anyhitng going from Colorado?
 
yea i'm not sure if i'll have any exams on that thursday so i don't know if i can buy the pass until the 26th of august. is there any potential refund (i know thats a lot to ask, but i might as well ask it)...?
 
I am so bumbed that I can't go to IF3. I had my passport, plain tickets, and my tickets to the big show. This sucks. I am going to see if I can give my tickets to someone. Any takers if I can?

the only thing ud miss out on is the salomon party thurs night, but thats before any of the movies so id still go if i were u

how many vip passes are left
 
If you are coming from out of town, where is the best/cheapest place to park your car? I dont want to pay the ridiculous amount that we got charged last year again.
 
really debatin on going but can't get anyone to ditch class wit me, anyone carpoolin from 717 south central pa?
 
since everyonees in mtl you guys should do tours of the office...and show behind the scenes of the great site in the world haha
 
Haha unfortunately there will be wayyyy too much going on and no time to tour the office during IF3.

Everyone on NS will get a tour however in the next week or so...
