Chris Turpin, Momentum camp stepover, triple flatspin (kangaroo style). Not quite stomped, but he got it around.
Don't know if there is video of it or not.
 
such an underrated skier but i dont know how i feel about triple flips being brought back into the sport...

i can only respect a triple in a comp if there is a solid grab

im still really excited to see it tho..
 
This is a super good effort,however I feel like doulbes are enough, you see so much of them already, am not so syked about triple
 
any triple flatspin is welcome by me....if thats really what he doing... im sure its not a true triple flatty tho, prolly a variation of a triple flip thats close to a flat but not a true flat.

I really want to see this. And Mr. CAPS up there, quit bitching about freestyle skiing becoming aerials. That will never happen. People are not going to start hucking shit and see who can do the most flips and spins. Your just jumping on the bandwagon of everyone else that says this aerial crap.
 
fuck yeah Turpin!!!! This guy deserves so much credit, one of the sickest skiers I have ever seen! He also deserves a ton of credit for being a great coach as well...
 
That's sick. Congrats to Turpin. I would love to see a vid, or even a sequence. Even if it isn't steezy it definitely deserves respect. Big ups TURPIN

id rather see an ill stomped double, or even single

if people wanna throw triples thats cool. i dont think they will catch on in comps though. look at henricks sw 16. it didnt do well at joi. so i think this spin to win thing wont be a problem

like, did you guys see Travis Rice's triple in That It, That's All? It was so sick.

I'm getting annoyed of all the people on NS thinking they know what's best for skiers. You all talk like "oh, triples are bad, it will turn "freeskiing" into "aerials", I don't think people should throw triples. think about that for a second. you are telling people they aren't allowed to do certain things on their skis even though they want to... well let me tell you something. They aren't hurting freeskiing in the smallest, YOU are.
 
so true. let the sport progress. Thats why this site pisses me off. So many negative cocky pre-teens standing on the outside making comments making no productive input into the sport. No wonder it took so long for freeskiing to get big.
 
yes finally I've been waiting there sick and all the people who say there going to be like areals stop it it's not going to be I can't wait for the quad cork.
