The "I have blown my knee" Thread

So lets face it we are skiers and will most likely encounter a knee injury somewhere throughout our dazzling adventures throughout the mountains. Now i am curious of how it happened (if it has happened), you know the background story, where, when, all that good stuff.

I will begin-

Age 15, skiing Breck's pipe first day on new skis and new bindings, was trying to train pipe because i suck at it, caught my tail on a nine which sent me clear into the middle of the pipe because of the awkward pop off the wall. I couldn't tell which way was up so I just went limp and prepared for impact. Unfourtunately i was stuck upside-down and i landed on my back/ head with the tail of my right ski hitting just after the initial impact, twisting my knee and Snap there goes a season, ACL, 2nd degree stretch of the MCL, and a couple tears of the meniscus with an extra topping of a concussion, (second one within a few months of eachother (first was a car accident)). January, 20, 2008. Approx. 3 pm, yep last run. Skied down on one foot because i thought i was fine.

WAY TO FUCKIN GO JUST SAYIN THAT NAO EVERRREEEE1 IZ GONNA HURT THEM SELVEZZZ!!!

but srsly that sucks...
 
I got one!! Doing a down flat down single bar a couple years ago, rail wasnt boxed in, ski went underneath and got caught on one of the supports, fell forward and smacked me knee straight onto the bar shattering the knee cap into about 6 pieces. 5 operations later and a season an a bit off im skiing! yay
 
Me and Brogan were hiking this urban style single barrel last december and he was making me look so bad my knee became ashamed and blew itself up.
 
Overshot like a 60ft jump in march 2005 and blew my acl. Decided to ski for a month afterwards because i didn't know my acl tore, finally got it checked in june and fixed'er up.
 
how many of you would reccomend wearing knee braces like the asterisk's if you have never had one of these horrendous sounding injuries? 
 
jumped a fence running from the cops cause i was underage drinking and twisted it to the inside. wasnt the 1st time getting caught for underage drinking so i had to spend 8 days in jail in jail w/ a torn acl and all the would give me was tylenol.
 
if you you better make up a pretty epic story to lay down when someone says, aww dude how d'ya blow both your knees ?
 
torn acl........ one my knees slidding down a hill. hit something in the snow and twisted it lol walked a mile home layed down and an hour later knee swelled up twice the size
