The Hobbit. Trailer HD

So stoked unfortunately this thread is going to be attacked for reposting, although I do believe the movie deserves 100 threads.

Just read the book 2 weeks ago, now reading The Fellowship of the Ring.

Words cannot explain my excitement for this movie.
 
Oh fuck me that looks good, this is seriously such a well produced movie its unreal. Has anyone seen the videos of how many RED cameras they had on set? fuckin nuts.
 
I'm a huge lotr/hobbit nerd. I have read all the books at least three times so stoked does not even come close to describing how stoked i am for this.

Probably not. My guess the only flash sequence will be of Bilbo and Frodo. My guess is that they will use Legolas a lot when the dwarves and Bilbo are imprisoned by the Wood Elves in Mirkwood.
 
Was he in the trailer? I didn't see him. It's cool that they didn't give away any real key moments or anything i'm pretty stoked for this movie
 
okay that trailer does not make it look very exciting.

i havent read the book in years so i dont remember the story, hopefully im just forgetting the interesting parts of it

 
the thing im most excited about is its going to be 2 movies so nothing will get left out (hopefully) this is the most excited ive been for a movie in years.

i almost think i like the hobbit more than LOTR

still both my favorite books hands down

i liked the movies too
 
Yeah it is two part with part 1 ending after the dwarves an Bilbo reach Laketown after escaping the Wood Elves. I'm especially pumped for two parts because the wont leave anything out. I was pretty disappointed when Tom Bombadil did not appear in The Fellowship of the Ring
