This is a sad sad story..
I was driving home today with my brand new orange fks in the box. I had to access my wallet which was in my ski pants up in the rocket box (right behind the fks). So i took the bindings and set them next to my foot on the ground. Somehow, i put my ski pants back up in the storage box and drove away with my bindings sitting on the side of the freeway. I realized 8 hours later when i was unpacking the car. :( fuck
 
oh damn. thats a fucking tragic thing. sorry about that, sucks to realize that you just essentially through $300 out your car.
 
oh my, i would have punched a hole through a wall when you realized they were gone....
one weekend i forgot to bring my skis. i thought i packed them but after our two hour drive when we were getting ready in the parking lot i had come to the conclusion that they were still sitting in my basement. Also, it only happened because my sister took them out of the car. when people move stuff around it really fucks up my organisation.
 
you gonna try to go back and find them or just leave them for some lucky dude to find them on the side of the highway
 
Theres no way that they will be there. Its been almost 15 hours since i left them there. I just hope that the person that finds them can appreciate how nice of a binding it is...
 
How sick would it be if someone from ns found them on the side of the road, posted in this thread, and gave them back?

I wish by some unrealistic stretch of the imagination, that I found them for you. I so know that feeling man.
 
that really sucks - if it makes you feel any better, I failed harder than that a few summers ago. Bought a brand new laptop, three days later I spilt beer all over it and broke it, no warrantee.
 
You should've missioned it back as soon as you realised. I wouldn't stop to look at a random box on the side of the road so theres a good chance it would have still been there. Also you should give the popo a ring. some nice person might have handed them in.
 
if youre not hours away, go check if theyre still there. im not sure how many people would check out a box on the side of the freeway. its worth a shot
 
if you know anyone that lives closer than you i would say ask em. like idk there is a chance they would still be there... cause a box of bindings is heavy and wont blow away into traffick or anywhere
 
Wow that sucks, but like people have said there's a fair chance they're still there, call someone or put a thread in regionals maybe offering a little reward if someone goes and gets them for you. Notifying police is usually a good idea too
 
Insurance claim? Maybe on yours or your rents house insurance? Report them lost / stolen to the 5-0 and get a report, file a claim..... Just an idea.
 
If you know right where they are call the cops in that town and have them go check it out. You might sound a little sketchy telling them to go look for a random box on the highway but you never know. I would really bet they are still there. Like anyone driving 70 down the road is going to pull off real quick to check out a box... good luck!
 
that's so wierd...i was driving home and had to take a piss so i pulled over. as i'm pissing i thought i saw an animal, but it turned out to be this sick new pair of fks's. i thought to myself, today is my lucky day, put them in my trunk and went about my business. sorry to hear about what happened to your fks's though. +vibes

But sorry to hear that man. you should definitly post in regionals about it though
 
man I know how it feels. I left my favourite skimboard in the parking lot like a month ago. I also lost a pair of boots, my goggles almost every season, countless pairs of gloves and socks. my keys.
actually I just suck at not forgetting shit.
