The happiest state

all i know is it can't be a state from new england. the mentality here is "i don't need you, i can do it better myself."
 
nothing against utah, mormons are just not my favorite people in the world IMOI'm quite content living in CO
 
theyre only the happiest because 90% of wives are prescribed antidepressants for no reason. im not even joking, they hand that shit out like candy.

my aunt (mormon), pulled out her pharm bag, and she had zanax, zoloft, vicodin, and like five other bottles. other than being a hypocondriac, shes fine. i dont get it.
 
huh, WA is number 7. i can see that. even though its usually dark and rainy around here, people generally get along and are super chill.
 
Damn, no wonder I've been miserable in NY all summer. It's because I moved back from the happiest state there is!! Now I'm even more stoked to be headed back in a few days.
 
washington is the 7th happiest state and our suicide rate is almost double anyone eles. someone figure that one out for me?
 
I dont know how anybody could be any less happy than Michiganders....nothing is going well for us right now. Yet we still have 9 states that are less happy than us?
 
are you kidding me? NO! New England is the most liberal region in the US. When was the last time you equated "no I don't need you, I can do it better myself" with liberalism? I believe that mentality prevails only in the the great states of the west, like Montana. New England would love the government to take care over everything.
 
you don't have to be a socialist to want more gov't. have you been to new england? I live in MA and know what I'm talking about. When you continuously elect someone like Ted Kennedy, that should give you a clue as to how we are aligned.
 
Colorado is the happiest place i've ever lived. I guess with the way they figured it out it makes sense, but VT should be on that list.

how the fuck is MA on that list. Mass blows and is quite unhappy IMO having lived there for 5 years.
 
True that, I miss Colorado so much I am like a different person not being there. I am always angry and can only think of being back in Denver.
 
Denver is one of the most stressed cities on the country. not sure why but Fox News told me so. I'm quite content with CO myself.
 
ok, I just actually took a look at the full list of states and lost all credibility in this. there's only an 8 point difference from happiest to least happy. this is such a subjective thing to write about.
 
8th MA deffenitly cuz we have the hottest girls around.... if it wernt for trafic and the T(subway) we would be the happiest place.

utah is because of skiing without a doubt.

CA has the happiest place on earth.
Someone must have been really unhappy for us to not get #1. Surely Disneyland makes up for all the unhappiness caused by immigration, pollution, homelessness, greed, and gang violence..
Or maybe its the breast implants and 350 days a year of sunshine is why we didn't get last...
 
Yeah, not quite sure why Mass. is on there... there's a reason they call us Massholes. (It seems like this is more true in Boston, and the suburban towns, not so much the towns in East Bumfuck Mass. like where I live)

 
meh. doesnt say much. i would rather be second happiest on the eastern seaboard than live in bumfuck and be "the happiest".
 
Bullshit. Doesn't Utah have double the National Average of Suicides per year because of Mormons fucking up everyone's life and enforcing intolerance and bigotry throughout the state? I doubt the survey factors in dead people.
 
What they're saying is that all the people who would have made the unhappy rate go up killed themselves and our unable to participate in the survey, so there's more happy people than unhappy people participating.
