The Gulch (pictures)

The Gulch; from top to bottom.

Note: some of the rails are next to each other (the 1st two urban rails, the flat-up-flat and flat rails, and the flat and flat-down box)

COME HAVE SOME FUN!

126140773712-20-09_045_.JPG

You should put a person on the table for reference becasue those jumps look to be 10 - 20 TOPS. theres no way any of those things are 40 feet. Maybe if you measure from the bottom of the take-off to the bottom of the landing.

I was standing on the deck when they measured the second to last jump yesterday, it's 54 feet from lip to sweet spot on the jump, no question. That being said, the takeoff is flat as fuck and its like a skiercross jump, there's no pop whatsoever. The up rail after the little jump is fucking money, and the fader jump is pretty good too. Right side is poppy. Down rails are good (but short, obviously) and the choice of flat-up-flat or straight brail is great too.

so much fun i just lapped gulch too bad it was fuckin windy as fuck today and shitty flat light saturday. last jump isnt too bad but the one before it.... not so much. One thing i would like to see would be some longer rails. but props MS best park on the east for sure.

u need a lot of speed for the second to last jump. you cant stop between the third to last and second to last jump. I stopped next to the up rail and didnt have nearly enough speed for the second to last jump and hit the deck pretty badly. Luckily nothing in the ankles or legs hurts but I broke the breaks on my bindings. I might have a video of a gulch run through later today depending on if i can recover files from my sd card which went corrupt.

the last jump had ok pop but definitely needs more

if MS makes those 2 jumps more poppy and make the last one bigger and the 2nd to last a little smaller those jumps will be absolute money....speed was a huge issue throughout sunday because of the wind....first jump is perfect and should stay how it is....2nd jump has tons of pop and is small, makes it a lot of fun....props to MS tho such a great park

2nd to last jump is a 40', last jump measured 44'. Neither of them had a good amount of pop, so like the people said above me, you really need to haul ass to clear them both ease. Easier to play on the last set after hitting the second to last as well.

Rails were real fun..love it.

The BroBombers were at Carinthia on Sunday. It was a blast, but goddamn you dudes deal with some cold temps. Definitely found out what gear worked and what didn't.

The parks are so nice and well kept...pretty much the model mountain in the East. I did a little writeup. Wish we had taken some pics, but to be honest I wasn't trying to take a glove off to operate a camera.

they worked on the last two jumps. they didnt look the same when i 1st rolled up on them today. more pop fer sher. saw some cork 7s n 9s

went today. jumps seemed reall poppy especially the last one. they are def 40-45 and 40. without question. such a fun park to ski!

true that... and we gotta be due for some fresh snow soon. been a while since we got any kind of precip

Feature looked cool, but as a skier I couldn't really figure a way to get at it. If anybody gets a pic of a skier actually using the dish (not airing over it), I'll find a way to post it up on BroBomb.

so pissed, im working saturday through tuesday. no shredding till wednesday...these pictures are getting me waaay too hyped up to ski

today was so sick.the gulch jumps were dopeee
and nitro was sick as well. lots of sick railsperfect day

If the jumps are anything like how they were yesterday, I'd advise spinning the second of the bottom two and definitely not the first

i'll probably hurt myself, but i'll test my luck on the satellite dish. my skis r so long i always get bucked when i jump into it for a stall at the top. if it works out i'll send a pic. wish me luck
