Ok, You need a bit of money...but...

You know how trampolines with cages have those posts to hold the netting up? Mount a video camera on top of each one of those, and make them all record you at once. Then after you do that, and you are editing, freeze it while you are in the air, and rotate it around 360 degrees, then start the video up again. Ahh, what that matrix has done for us.

nice man, but you have too much time on your hand. and in the matrix they had 50+ cameras I think. would be cool, but would be a shitload of work to get it to work

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

How does Taco Bell shrink mini-ninjas, hide them in the bean burritos, and then cue them to kick my insides out approx. 2 hours after eating?

yea the problem is they had a shit load of cameras in the matrix, i think 360 for every degree and some more than that, so it would look a tad bit goofball, but good idea

good idea...cept to get the true matrix effect, u need a SHITLOAD of cameras, but still a nice idea...good luck finding all the cameras and buying the tapes

that would be pretty sweet. They have some shots like that in propaganda i think. On a quarterpipe?

My girlfriend told me to shove my skis up my ass

'finall i have my trampoline equipped with 500 cameras in a ring.'

*jumps, does d-spin kicking the ring toppling the entire setup onto himself ending life and breaking cameras*

Yeah, they did it in Propaganda. Didn't work out as they had probably hoped for.

In the superbowl they had it, they only had like 12 cameras and it was a much bigger area. It wasnt that choppy. I think I could pull it off

the matrix people dont use tramps either. just a side note.

they had a lot more than 12 cameras in the superbowl.

the qp sequence in propaganda was sick in my opinion

it depends on how good you are with film work and some photo shop type stuff. You could actually do the filler frames yourself if you were super geek computer boy, but I am guessing few people are good with that. sweet idea though

you dont use video cameras when you do that, you use regular cameras and they take a shot like a fraction of a second between one another. its like rapid photography in a circle, like 800 cameras go off in less then a second. then you take the pics and its like a flip book basically(that is an oversimplification) they just animate the photos like you could a cartoon and it comes out lookin like the center of focus is standing still and your moving around it.

well, you can see what crazy filming they use in The Matrix: Reloaded, it's out on the 15th.

With video cameras you could change it from the matrix stuff and do something different like keep the motion going while you move cameras... just use slow motion and pause for just a little time between camera shots and your motion would move in like 3 directions.. might turn out neat... plus if you use a fade between the shots instead of just still frames spliced straight together it will make it way smoother i'm betting.

i think they did it in propaganda to make the trick apear bigger then it was,, what was it a flare in a quarter pipe right? and in the matrix they did not use 360 cameras for every degree. thats rediculous.

The matrix was actually VERY choppy, if you have the DVD look at the special features. There was only around 300 cameras and they went a total of about 540 degrees around him. The reason it looked so smooth is that they went and digitally filled it in between frames, and did a damn good job so you can hardly tell. Look at his cape if you dont believe me, you can tell it is partially computer done.

Hmmm, thast interesting, ill hcek out his cape some day when im bored.

its a cool effect, but it would take alot of time and effort. why?

I can't think of any trick on a trampolean worthy of it all

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

yeah um only 300 cameras

it would be cool but as most people said really hard to do... I think the Propaganda clip was pretty cool anyways

dodgeball and nuts = a few guys on the floor crying and many laughing

skiing or sex... good question????

I figure 8 posts, if I get 8 people to bring their cameras, it would work out kinda good. Sure it wouldnt be smooth as hell, but it would be cool to see stuff from different angles.

they have 360 cameras; one for each degree, that way they get the shot from every possible angle down to the milimeter

if you go to www.debugmode.com or go to yahoo and look for adobe premiere plug-ins there is a matric effect where you only have to use one camera to do it..its pretty sick and i thought about doin it for skiing.... its def doable you just need to learn winmorph to get it done right

bryan, the technique you talk about using winmoprh looks HORRIBLE... I've done it before... not very good at all.. even the demo video they show you is horrible... but it's kinda cool..

There are programs that can fill it in 360 degrees if you have like 10 angles, But they are very expensive and still dont look all that great.

They have like the axis cameras at the x-games... dont know how they work.
