Everyones favorite Lil Horsey is here, and we are proud to anounce a new monthy award in skiing!

THE GOLDEN PIECE OF SHIT AWARD!

Thats right, this award will go out to someone, or something, or some company in freestyle skiing every month, for totally fucking sucking, and making skiing look like a piece of shit.

The first ever winner of the GPSA goes to:

(drum roll please!)

SUBLUX CLOTHING! For their first ever ad in Ski Time Magazine.

Yes, congradulations Sublux, you managed to take an alright photo and turn it to complete shit in your first ever advertizment with your fantastic "we are so into art" skills.

Again! Congradulations.

The runner up was Spyder, for making CR Johnson look like a huge penis in their first advertizment of the season, unfortunaly the ad could not be entered into this months competition because it is out of date. Try again next time.

Yeah, CR's happy trail REALLY made me want to buy that coat! As for the new sublux ad, I haven't really looked at it yet, but that entire magazine was pretty sketchy so I don't expect much.
 
man dont hate on the small companys they are whats progressing our sport. so even if the ad was shit dont hate, love.

either way GPSA is pretty damn funny, even it mat be rude and upfront. Isn't that the point? Constructive Critism you can laugh off?
 
Just because their graphic designed deleted every font other then stencil from his work computer doesn't make it bad...
 
hah people on here have no brains. if someone besides lilhorsey wrote this, everyone and their mom would be on here saying "hey shut the fuck up, sublux is core, support the industry". as it is now, everyone agrees.

i'm gonna continue to hate on the printed t-shirt companies though and agree. i also nominate gates gloves and h3o for a tie next month.
 
I would like to say that the NS ad in SKIER magizine was bullshit...(and i never hate when i'm on this forum!!!) but really the cut-out for tagging your logo is crazy man just crazy.

NS is bullshit for promoting useless taggin. IT'S NOT EVEN THE RIGHT FONT.
 
I absolutely love the responses this kid gets. It's gotta suck ass for this little boy to come home from school and log on to an internet forum that hates him passionately.

But the little fucker brought it on himself.
 
it's great because someone has to tell the company, yes, even if they are core, that their advertising sucks total balls.

My copy of Ski Time hasn't shown up yet, but I'd be quite interested in seeing this ad. Would someone be so kind as to post a scan, or failing that, describing it?

Or, if you're too lazy to do that, could someone tell me if the ad features a certain Zach Davison (super fucking sick, Armada-riding, Alaskan fool with a PBP segment this year, in case you didn't know), throwing a corked spin on what looks like a hip jump with a view of Vancouver?

Because that's a pretty sick shot, and I think it'd make for a cool ad.

I liked our ad. Wasn't really meant to be much else other than moderately funny.
 
ill second that. i heard that ninthwards writeup in ski time was total bullshit just claiming on themselves all over the place
 
from what I hear it was just all like "were making the best skis in the world, and we're so good, and ninthward rules" all that kind of shit... just no sustinance in it... bunch of douchebags claiming on their stupid ski company
