The God who wasn't there

I don't understand your post. It's nothing like the zeitgeist in that it is grounded in fully in reality. The first part of the zeitgeist is somewhat acceptable but the rest is such shit. This movie is legit.

That was a good one. My favorite part is when they prayed over the cardboard cutout of George Bush. The scary thing is that there are a ton of people like that where I live.

i tried to watch zeitgeist once.

i stopped half way through though because its just straight up depressing shit they talk about. Seriously fuck that, im moving back to canada, my home and native land.

tanner, you are a good man (i have you as a 10/10) and i like you, but you post a lot of stuff having to do with religion. and you being from the south kind of supports the stereotype that people from the south are obsessed with religion.

did you notice how the foundation is supported heavily by the church and spiritual leaders, and purposely gives out more money than the nobel peace prize to gain respect? its just another example of the church buying people.

haha jesus camp is a super good movie everybody should rent it. as far as that article about scientific proof of god. that is bullshit. im sorry but there is just too much shit going on to be a god watching over us all. Also i cant get over this- Christianity says that the earth is only a few thousand years old. there are fossils dating back billions of years. and the answer put forth by the church is that god put them there to fool us. please explain

What? no. Theres so many different sects of Christianity and not all are as orthodox as they were back in the times of Darwin. For example, i am Roman Catholic, I go to a Catholic school and we have been taught on evolution and how it took all those millions of years. So i guess it all depends on which part of Christianity you look at

christianity doesn't say the earth is a few thousand years old. according to the bible the earth was created in 7 days. in the english versions of the bible the word 'day' has been translated from a hebrew word meaning 'period of time.' so christianity really says that the earth was built in 7 periods of time, which could have been millions of years each.

I am not religious though. I oppose it I guess. Everyone has a right to it but growing up around it my whole life and seeing it from both sides I like to discuss it. Alot people in the south are obsessed with religion.

Seriously don't compare this movie to zeitgeist it is way better.

If God put fossils there to test our faith then God is liar. Therefore we cannot trust God because he is a liar.

And jesus camp is a great movie. You can watch it online on youtube or anywhere else. It is funny but informative.

Dude even (some) of the later parts of zeitgeist are at least hypothetically legitimate... Well parts of them. Then again being skeptic as shit is probably a good thing in regards to all this kinda stuff

none of zeitsgeist is legitimate. if you're looking for a good laugh do a little research on zeitgeist's sources
