yea, i've gotten into this buying cds...cause it taks me forever to download all the songs and make the cd, my computer sucks at that stuff, it goes sooooo slow...and trying to find all the songs is too much effort...but i wish i woulda gotten it

I have seen them a few times live, they are pretty good, they are actually playing in Worcester in July with Superchunk and Hot Rod Ciruit...I know they are playing a whole tour with those bands. If you get a chance go check em out.

yeah the get up kids are real good, theyre new stuff is really emo, but their old stuff was all punk. sadly their new manager and label changed them, as is the way with most labels, so they are a faster knockoff of Dashboard COnfessional but still good.

yea I am pissed about this one. Emo and Hardcore are music where the live show is everything... a love for the music is what you go to the shows for. that is what I have always gone for... and if you are into the music that is all that matters. it really pisses me off when guys go there just to pick up girls... and when girls go there to pick up guys... I am definitely not gay or anything... I just love my music. This is not fucking POP. it wasn't invented by some guy to make little girls and boys listen to the catchy tune and buy the cds. I just don't think you should be going to the shows if you have no apreciation for the music. k that is my rant...

People find interest in eachother through common interests in things like say MUSIC...yes if a beautiful girl at a Get Up Kids show came to talk to me I would be interested in her and take a break to talk to her and maybe get her number and such...

it's not such a terrible thing to have girls in mind when you go to a show...but it shouldn't be the only thing you go for...if you like the music then theres no problem

Saw them w/ Superchunk (greatest band on earth) a few weeks ago in Detroit, drove 6 hrs. to see the show cause they weren't tourin through Toronto

it was after sorority life on mtv, god I love that show, anyway they played them during the show and after words did the whole if you liked the music from the show this is who it is and they showed part of their video

just to clear all of this up, dave really is gay and only enjoys when guys looking to pick up guys go to get up kids concerts.
