I probably should of made this thread a while ago, but hey - better late than never, eh?
So, The Game will be back on Queen street this Saturday, AND SUNDAY! for it's 5th Annual!! For those who aren't in the know - The Game is a rail comp held on the streets in downtown Rossland. Saturday is a traditional rail comp, where there is typically two lines with 3 jibs each, ending with a qp style jib at the bottom. To make things better this year, the course will stay up and anyone who wants to session the rails can come out Sunday and session it for free, without the stresses of a competition.
Combine that with Rick Mercer lurking around town (and competing in the bobsled course), it promises to be a great time (like the Rossland Winter Carnival is ever a bad time).
This last bit is directed towards you Nelson folk: I know what Tribute is doing, and you have to ask yourself a simple question. Would you like to support the 5th annual, part of the longest running winter carnival in Canada put on by Rossvegas/Ripping Giraffe Board Shop... or some sort of cheep shot from Tribute to steal the spotlight? Make the right choice, come to Rossland, you'll thank yourself for it.
