ns.com is a sweet place.. but i propose we can make it even sweeter.

So heres the idea (that I have seen elsewhere):

I have a lot of stuff I don't need, but can't really sale (for more than $5). So I want to give it away (that includes shipping... it's completely free). The first people to pm claiming dibs on the items get them. Simple.

The stipulation is after claiming dibs on the item you either:

1. post a new item that you want to give away, or

2. give a $5 donation to NS

I think this could work if people want it to, so please don't post to whine about something or yell at someone else. If you aren't going to ship something, don't offer it. This could be sweet (or not). So, first come first serve and it's all free.

I've got 3 things up for grabs:

1. Sessions jacket... well used, but will still keep someone warm.

jackets gone... you know you could also put something up just out of the sheer generosity and desire to make ns a better place...
 
I wont be home until tommorow but I'll post a beanie I have in mind.

This was def a good idea, TGR has one and it is sick.

Also everybody should post dibs in here and dont PM people cause then people dont know what the order is. So dibs in here so you'll know the procession of the people
 
Sadly they are packaged, and ready to send. They will be sent when another item is posted here. I'll give him a couple days, then they'll go back on the free market.

Up to the chopping block. Freeskier Bula beanie, its green and I've only wore it once to try it on. If its in the USA then I will ship for free but anywhere else I might have to charge.
 
I have one Swix Carbon/Graphite Pole it is Blue with the Black and yellow grips i believe it is 48".... you pay shipping.... and if you are really stoked... some meaningless trade would be acceptable tooo....

 
i'd call dibs on the freeskier beanie form killer, but as of now i got nothing to put up.

this is a good idea though. i like the idea of having to give something back and not just some random kids coming in and getting free stuff.
 
Heres the rules guys so this can go smoothly:

You guys have to call Dibs in here, no PM's. Cause it will be a pain in the ass to check the times so just call dibs in the forum so people will know whos first.

If you do get something you have to put something of either close to or equal value on the site. Like if someone got my beanie I dont want them to put up something meaningless like a single ski pole or something rediculous. Thats just common courtesy.

Shipping is up to the person giving the stuff away. Personally I wouldnt charge shipping unless its over $5 cause this is supposed to be free stuff for free.

I got this from Earl but I wont ship something unless the person who is getting puts something up first so I know that this chain will keep on going. Thats up to you guys.

well im gonna let this slide but evan25 has first dibs on the beanie due to PM's so once he puts something up I'll send it out

you should not be allowed to call dibs until you have an item ready to be put up, there should be no dead unactive transition time between items. thats how i see it imo
 
yea the process of calling dibs should be you post a pic of what it is you are giving away and state what it is you want dibs on, and then it's yours. as for the shipping, it's just waaay easier that way then having people mailing like $5 bucks around.
