And no, I'm not getting photo incentives from those ads. If i wanted to do that, I'd just say 'Rip Curl, Nordica, Marker, Level, Astrix.' See? Now i've made money.' - Brad Holmes to some idiot kid from Potland Maine

My dad still has a pair of Olin Mark V's in the garage, bright orange... They kind of look like popsicle sticks b/c they don't have much sidecut.

'...Smoking's bad, smoking killed my dad. Yeah, he was driving down the highway one day and as he was lighting his cigarette, it blew out the window. So he jumps out the door to save it, and ran himself over. Uh, you mind if I smoke?' -Olie Ollaussen, Ski Bum extraordinaire

kids at my mountain used to heat up theyre skis and curve them theirselves

i pee on ur face but i dont care..

i take off ur little sisters underwear

so i told her it was a lollypop and the flavor was salty.

shoved in her mouth, it punctured through her cheek broke the glasses of that three year old geek.

r. kelly did the same but im not about to give him the blame cuz fucking littles girls is just my game

ok, according to the line website, im pretty sure they all came out in the same year, i would copy and paste but im damb to lazy, go to the line website then go to propaganda or whatever, i think its part 1 but it said taht line created the first skiboard and then on the yearly new ski showcase line, salomon, rollinal, and some other ski comonlys all released twin tips at the same time. i probably got it all wrong tho

go listen to some emo. those whiny guys feel your pain.-linemaverick5...

-If people don't want 'Posers' in their sport they should quit skiing and take up knitting. I highly doubt that anyone 'Poses' as a knitter. -Jibtech

the ostinis dragons which were made by the line people were the first twin tips before line became a company

EAST COAST

there were moguls skis in the 80s with twin, but not intended for skiing switch, 1080 was the first real twin made for freeskiing

you're wrong, the k2 poachers were out before salomon had their 1080's out. At least 2 seasons before.

wrong one, those are based off of the Enemy by K2, the ORIGINAL olins are the first twin tip. They were a ballet ski.

i know tihs guy who used to de lam his skis and then take a blow torch and bend the tails up

thats freestyle pioneering

K2 had the Poacher out in the fall of 1997, Salomon followed later with the 1080, but didn't sell those skis until the next year, fall of 1998. Dynastar had these twin tip Twister skis selling in fall or 1998 as well. Line didn't sell twin tip skis until the following year, fall or 1999 with the release of the 1260, a 162cm twin and the Ostness Dragon a 193cm twin. The K2 Enemy(all black top, red, white and blue bases) and the Rossi Pow Air (black and white vertical stripes) and Dynastar Twin Board Concept (cow base) started selling that fall of 1999 as well.

Olin had their ballet ski the Mark IV years and years earlier, but the first real twins were wooden skis. One is actually on display in an Aspen ski antique store. It was also featured in Freeze and had an approximate 1930's date on it.

the olin mark IV was MOGUL SKIS, yes they were twins , everybody agree on that but the were made for moguls. they were not made do do rails and park stuff. real shit was k2 and salomon skis.

but armada rock the shit.

Actually, the first ever twintip made was called the "Banshee" and it was made in the early 1930's. It was a full twin, pointy tipped all wood ski madef ro doing ballet moves on the slopes. Straight out of an older issue of freeze!

Haha, yeah. They were called the Banshee. I remember the pic on Freeze, they looked really pointy.
