The First Skier First Hand on Fuel was......

Aside from the old footage, was there anything else you didn't like? I know the series producer and I'll be happy to pass your feedback along to him.
 
there are a lot better skiers that would be more entertaining to the general public to watch. jon olsson would probably keep about everyone entertained
 
^Yeah, I agree. I know they discussed TJ (after they read a post on here from a while back). Anything else? I know they are interested in the feedback.
 
pretty much any big name pro, jon, west, simon, sammy, pollard, pep, thall, or even t-wash, any of those guys would make an awesome show. and hers was just lame she didnt really do that much skiing, and when she did she did the smallest 360s and lame 180s and little rails. It was really boring to watch. she did more wakeboarding then skiing
 
Damn I missed it, I'll have to wait 3 hours before it'll be back on again considering how many different shows fuel has (not hating just noting that they need more of a variety but i do understand that it is hard to do considering they dont have the biggest buget). Sucks to hear it wasnt good tho, I usually really like firsthand. Thall would probably be the best. Jon and Pollard would be awesome but Id rather see thall because Jon has the videoblog which imo is better than firsthand because he updates it all the time and pollard has hunting yeti. I guess thall does have some vids on the net but his season would be crazy to see.
 
I was surprised to hear she made it on the show considering the amounts of people who throw down more and who would have been more entertaining.
 
I wouldn't even say it has to be a big name pro. It just needs to be someone that actually rips. Why would they ever put Kristi before Sarah, Grete, Ingrid, etc?
 
Kristi, is probably the worst possible person to choose. Maybe you can do one on Brad Holmes next time.
 
Please, for the love of god, do not do one on Dumont. He will make our sport look awful. He is not representative of who we are as a community. We have very few opportunities to show the world what we do who we are. All he would do is plug empire and act really cocky.

i say the best options would be:

Tanner Hall

Eric Pollard

Pep Fujas

Jon Olsson

Colby West

Sammy Carlson

Corey Vanular

Those guys would show the general public the people who are leaving their imprint on the freeskiing world. Plus they are down to earth and generally likable.

 
I think any of the big name skier would be sick. I'm just excited that they showed skiing on Fuel though. I always bitch about how much snowboarding they show and no skiing. Adding more skiing would definetly boost their popularity. I know a lot of skiiers that refuse to watch it becuse of the lack of skiing. I don't know any snowboards that wouldn't watch if they showed more skiing.
 
yeah or colby west. those are my top 2 for guys that rip and know how to entertain in front of a camera
 
I honestly don't care who they really picked, as long as there was a skier on Fuel. I absolutly love Fuel but I feel like it gets really repetative some times. I want to see them branch out into more sports like skiing, mt. biking, kiteboarding etc. Seriously Jon could have his own show like Terje's Season Pass. Either way, lets see some more skiing on Fuel.
 
yeah if they did one on dumont all you would hear is "me, me, me, me, look how cool i am, buy empire" repeated over and over again. he is a good skier, but a terrible representative of our sport.
