The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift

so heres the deal. the fast and the furious has become a franchise. meaning that it no longer has to have any relation to any of the other previous movies. all new fast and the furious movies are now standalone. secondly it was filmed in souhtern california. this isnt noticalble in the urban scences as they were able to convert sunset blvd into down town tokyo, but when their out in the country you can obviously tell its socal. secondy they put a fuckin rb26dett in a mustang. for those motor illerate teh rb26dett is the skyline inline 6. for more info check out sportcompactcarweb.com they did a big write up on the movie.

Why bother doing such an in depth investigation into the movie? Honestly, if they got the most simple shit wrong such as a rear spoiler on a front wheel drive car (second movie) why even bother? It's just for show and not for the machine heads. That would be like physic students doing a write up on all the flaws in X-Men 3.

^^^^first i would like to say that putting an RB in a Mustang is bullshit......american muscle schould have some american soul. You don't put edlebrock in an import.......thats just wrong.

Second the driving looks pretty good....but the story is shit. A Gaijin making it auto in the Toyo drift scene is bullshit. (if you want to make it over there you run mountains ....touge)And the drift scene is nothing in Tokyo......it is strong in places like Ebisu.....but not tokyo.

Third....the cars in this movie are legit drift cars. Unlike the second movie with rice mobiles. The cars are awsome.....especially the VeilSide Fortune Rx-7. Plus you have legit drifters driving the cars like Sam Hubinette,Keiichi Tsuchiya and others.

Ohh and if you are gonna take anything from this movie it is that if you are gonna drift.....go to driving school....and learn it from a safe place.

hahahahaah that looks to be one of the dumbest movies ever. as if rice rocket honda civic racing bullshit wasn't stupid enough to begin with. i watched half of the original 'fast and furious' movie and i had to stop it because it was so damn stupid. enough of this crap hollywood, make more good movies.

i thought it was an alright movie, iffy at times, definatly better than the second, but still solid. sometimes the actor was shifting with his right hand which i found humorous

Man, movies with bow wow always rock. Roll Bounce? Kicked 100% ass! Tokyo Drift? 100% ass too! Cept i haven't seen it. DON'T LET ME DOWN BOW WOW!

they got rid of paul walker and put in the actor who played mike winchell in friday night lights, that let me down

haha i noticed that too.. (kinda irrelevant but...)it still must be weird driving on the other side of the road

word. and haha the hicks all" all my life people have told me i dont fit in, well dagnabbit im in tokyo bitch!" hahahha

i liked it because i went in there to have fun and just enjoy a movie, not to critique every single thing that happened. I though it was fun to watch.
