what is it? at my school the teachers get a facebook at the beginning of the year so they can match up who is who in their classes

i remember walking through the cafeteria in school discussing facebook with my friend
 
i remember back in 2004 my brother got a facebook (only college students then), I was still in HS, but he was showing me around the site and I remember how much better it was than myspace at that time. Who else remembers when you became friends with someone and you were given options on how you met that person (in the mall, at the movies, etc.) and you could write what the experience was like. lulz were had.
 
lol, my laptop from when I first started undergrad still has facebook under my bookmarks as "thefacebook"

A more simple time, before statuses and whatnot.
 
i remember when i first got facebook, it was the time that most people figured out my real name. i eventually changed it to one of my nicknames, but for a while there, people were like "i know your real name now because of facebook!"

also facebook is lame, i miss nexopia.
 
Damn this thread tripped me out at first. I thought at first it was someone's shitty attempt at a troll. I remember when my buddy first got a Myspace because he had friends he met from Connecticut while he was in Costa Rica and wanted to stay connected with them. I thought it was fucking stupid. Myspace was the shit because it had backgrounds and a music player.
