dude, they have been saying that the world was going to end for houndreds of years now...so many people have tried to predict it over the last houndreds of yours...not going to happen yet...
 
I think the mayans ended the calander at 2012 just because they could not find a stone big enough to make it that far. I dunno man, just live your life, if you think about it it will drive you nuts and you will just stay in your basement all the time. If you think about it, a meteor that has not been spoted yet could come and hit the earth in the middle of the night. You would never even know it. SO just live your life, and have fun.
 
That calander was made OVER 5000 years ago.....I mean with all those scientist back then and all thy have to be right....lol...like the other poster said..live life...have fun...HAHA maybe they got tired or "ran out of stone"
 
hahahaha guys this was all in good fun. i don't honestly think the world is going to end in four years, what he's saying is crazy, he was obviously smoking something... but i thought it might make an interesting discussion among nsers.

but to everyone saying the mayans said the world is going to end in 2012 your wrong, they said things are going to incredibly change and the calender they had made end's at that point.

 
i agree why do people freak out about the end of the world i mean a tone of people were thinking everyone was going to die at the end of the millennium and nothing happened

i think were just going to go into another ice age, if you look at time line for ice ages it goes down kind of like our shit we got going then spikes back up, but i have heard about the 2012 and not from lil wayne
 
The Mayan calendar works in cycles. the fact that it ends on 2012 means nothing other than that we're moving from one era of time into another. It in no way predicts the end of the world. Rather, it predicts a change in energy and astrological eras. Lil Wayne is a fucking retard anyways.
 
I'm pretty sure people could tell the future and know that 5000 years from now the world would end. I don't belive any of that bullshit, I don't believe in any apocolypse that is already planned that people know about. If the world ends, chances are we get hit with a meteor or we blow eachother up.

by the way what does a black man and a woman running for president have to do with the end of the world?
 
As the story goes the cycle doesn't just restart, it means that in 2012 there will be a time of radical change. I don't think anything will happen, but there is more to it than just the cycle restarting.
 
poeple will start to love each other and population will remain constant cuase we will start to realize we are destryoing earth
 
Yeah, as I understand it that just marks some type of change in the world. As other people have pointed out, the Mayans believed time was cyclical. The calendar has to end somewhere, obviously.
 
yea well for something that was made that long ago it is pretty weird that they have succesfully predicted every lunar and solar eclypse to date.

and there is so much other compelling evidence to sugest the end in 2012 ( december 21st to be exact) go look at some vids onyoutube there are tons! even discovery channel had a 2 hour documentery on all the different things that say the world will end in 2012. when i saw it i was shitting my self but then i figured hey fuck that im not letting this screw up everyday. im going to live my life and not worry about stupid shit.

and besides you could die tomorrow, your life can be taken basically any second of the day. You could have a brain anirisom( spelling?) and die right now. So its no use worrying about shit in years to come when your life could end in a month, next week or even tomorrow.
