The east coast is going to get hammered

yep, out 50-some inches of fresh at springs was ruined last weekend by rain, this week by an inch or two of freezing rain, and again today by rain...and oh yeah, the 45 degree weather we've had for the last week
 
this has been such a lame ass winter. hopefully the rain is followed by a huge snow storm, but that is highly unlikely.
 
Don't worry you guys are not the only ones. It's being raining here for the past month every day, it's rained about 5 6 feet worth of rain on the north shore mountains
 
I just put a curse on the EC weather fairies. I told em they had to let up after this storm, so LOOK FOR BETTERNESS IN THE FUTURE!!!!
 
I am from the east so I feel your pain. However I currently reside in colorado and it was thigh deep today at crested butte...
 
FML. I am only hoping that we get another dump soon, usually we get 2-3 BIG ones a season. And We've only gotten like 1 so far. Cmon mother nature
 
FUCK... I guess my ski season is over =\. My hill prolly has about a foot of snow at most right now, and with the rain it'll be about 6 inches of ICE. And my hill has no snowmakers (since it's tiny) and it's only snowing about 2-3 inches at most in the next 14 days according to the forecast. Great...
 
lol next week the snow is gonna be fucking bulletproof...glad i'm racing then and not freeskiing on death cookies in the trees
 
this is so ridiculous. the snow has been sooo nice for the past 6 weeks. even though we haven't gotten much natural snow i bet that'll come in feb and march but still, high 40's, an inch and a half of rain, and flash flood warnings throughout the next 24 hours really makes me want to cry.
then its suppose to drop to -5 wednesday/thursday night, shits gunna be bullet-proof. and next week i'm racing 2 super G's and a DH at Sugarloaf, shits gunna be fassssst
 
i'm thoroughly pissed about this incoming rain, although it's kind of inevitable at this point. we've been extremely lucky over the past weeks, and having a bad week or so is bound to happen. we might be seeing some snow wednesday, so stay up east coast!!
 
I dont care, it was pouring all day by me. I was like fuck it im skiing.I wait all summer and fall to ski, and i would kill to have even a shitty day in the rain in mid july.As long as this storm leaves a good base, snowmaking and natural snow are going to rape the east this whole next month. Looking forward to a weather positive feb and march.
