The draft is coming back

so, what if the draft comes back? what would you do?

if i heard the vote was approved, i would join the coast guard ASAP. afterall, they can't force you to join the military if you're already in.
 
I would never fight for the US...I just dont believe in war period...I would sacrifice my citizenship to the US in a second if it meant not having to take lives.
 
i would pray that the draft closes in the next two years and start making a very charitable donation to the whithouse every year

i wouldn't run, if i had to go, i guess i would have to.

what would they do with women? i don't think there have ever been women drafted. To my knowledge, women aren't even allowed in front line combat.
 
i'd do it. i'd never go out of my way to join, but if my country needed me i'd do it, because i'm patriotic. it doesn't matter whether or not you agree on the purpose of the war, if you have pride in your country, prove it and do your service.
 
two blown out knees and an adrenaline disorder, so I can't get drafted. If I was sans blowouts and disorders, I'd join the Marines, non-draft.
 
I would go ROTC in the Airforce or Navy. That way you can become a pilot or at least an officer. Then if you keep with it their special forces blows away anything that the Army or Marines have. The Marines are: first one in, first one with shitty gear, first one dead and last one you want to be. sure they are tuff. but I would rather be tuff and armed to the teath.
 
that part i agree with, but i wouldnt leave the country. i couldnt go live the rest of my life in another country and never go back to the US, so i would join but only if i am drafted.
 
Every person that dodges the draft just pushes it onto another person, which isn't cool. If somebody is lucky enough to not be drafted at any particular time, you should be happy for them, not force the spot on them by being a pussy.
 
I'm an only child so I probobly wouldnt get drafted but if I did I would go and do my duty to my county. But I highly dought the draft will come back, mainly for political reasons. If they re-enstate the draft they are admiting that the war is a mess.

but id enlist in the air force before i got drafted
