The down side of skiing at snowbird and alta

The canyon road is currently closed for avalanche control work.

At this time it is uncertain when the road will re-open. The weather

forecast suggests that the storm will diminish in intensity around

12:00 today. A re-evaluation will be made at that time. Straght-line

travel from the lodges to the Snowbird Center is now allowed. Parking

lots are still restricted.

I tried to beat the canyon closure, didnt quite make it, was fist in line though and had to turn around and go home....bummer.

sucks but at least u get enough snow and have big enough mountains to have avalanche problems.

You'll get up there and most lifts will probably be closed, so windy.

you just have to play youre interlodge cards right fool. im sure the couple hundred people up tehre are having the time of their lives!

downside of skiing at snowbird or alta is that your wallet is drained if you dont have a season pass

no kidding. my hill is 150ft tall and its gonna be 11C on monday which is around 50F i believe..
