that's what i'm wondering... I think I'm getting the Chet Thomas Skatecap (the one in the pic above), with the headphones. It just seems like a skateboard helmet would have more padding than a wakeboard helmet. I'm sure either would work, though.

^^^technically, any helmet is only good for one big hit, because that's how they are designed (because if the foam were to just bounce right back into it's original shape your head would just bounce right with it.)

yeah, the red hifi is a pretty sick helmet, it's light and you can barely tell it's on, and then you crash, and the same scenerio - feels like you're NOT wearing a helmet cause you get a really bad concussion and crack the foam and dimple the plastic

ive rocked the skatecap before with a hat and goggles..i hit my head that day and had a head ache for the rest of the weekend. i wouldnt suggest getting it unless your priorities are backwards.

I would say the Giro S4 cuz i have it and its sick, the Giro Bad LT., and the black Giro helmet with the visor. That Capix helmet is sick too though.

i have the red/silver flint sc without chinguard part (just helmet and visor) and it is sick! if you have propaganda, jp wears it all the time. i also have the capix chet thomas skatecap, which is fun, but i'm just gonna keep it for the warm days.

It is similar to the 9 MX, but with a Chinguard and a more protective, balls to the wall look. Sick stuff, I'd wear it if I skied BC often.
