Jim morrison is the man. What other singer made the cover of rolling stone 9 years after he died? Not to mention, they make some of the best stoner music ever, did the main theme of apocolypse now(greatest movie ever), and were renowned for creatin the best concerts ever. Fuck yeah, they beat the rolling stones by a long shot.

i agree,great band, and great stoner music. but if you want stoner music check out hendrix and pink floyd, those guys make some trippy beats.

yeah led zep is pretty awesome, but i dont think they fit in the same categorie as hendrix, the doors, or pink floyd.

i love them... but they are not the greatest band of all time. the band itself wasnt that brilliant with the excepion of the keyboardist and jim. dont get me wrong though.... they are really good and influencial group

Roadhouse Blues is probably my favorite too. But they are all awesome. I also really like Love Her Madly, Riders On The Storm, and Runnin' Blue.

The Soft Parade is actually by far my favorite. I love the part where it changes and hmm it's like 'this is the best part of the trip... the best part...' mmm I love that song

you guys are retarted. the doors were a good band, but middle of the road as far as 60s bands were concerned. if jim morrison didn't die as he did, they wouldn't have half the following they do. good music, for sure, but not deserving of any greatest ever talk
