ah... i guess you can say mormons are determined to spread religion and the puritans were like religious loners, didnt lke non-puritans and idnt really convert people i guess

puritans believed in the 'village upon a hilltop' theory...that they should set an example for the way that the rest of society should act and live. they were very religous and believed that GOD was always watching them and he controlled the earth and everything that happened was believed to occur because of GOD. and their lives were all determined by GOD by the way they behaved.

lets look at the word 'puritan' when you say i you pronounce it like 'pure' itan... thats cause they were 'pure' meaning that they obeye their religion if ou wanna say it like that to the fullest. they had some weird beliefs... oh and you can blame puritans for witch stuff

yeah puritans basiscally started all the with stuff, if a woman was a widow and did not want to reammary she was considerded a witch or if a woman owned a bar she was suspected to be a witch, or if a woman did not regularly attend church she was consisdered a witch and so on, i think you get the point...

oh yeah and cant mormons like marry as meny people as they want and stuff?

heres a little clarifacation.. to the question on wether the greater feat was being mormon and not from utah, or vice versa, i would have to say that the greater feat is living in utah and not being mormon. i can hardly stand the place, and its full of my own people...so to speak, and we cant have multiple wifes.. why on earth anyone would want to deal with, let alone support more than one wife is beyond me... and som mormons drink caffine, some dont... that is all.
