I am writing a paper on a concept and i am defining the concept of newschool skiing. if you could reply what you think newschool really is that would be awesome.

newschool skiing: a type of skiing in which skiers perform tricks and other maneuvers in an attempt to progressively move the sport forward

i'm sure there are better definitions, but it's early and that's the best i could come up with

Newschool: something that differs from its original form in a manner that is new and unique from its predecessor>

Newschool skiing - a type of skiing where skiers conciensly put them selves at risk by jumping off of made man or natrual snow jumps, dropping cliffs, and slideing ontop of man made metal rails and boxes and perform tricks and aerial stunts while doing so.

newschool skiing: a sub group of skiing, where one has utmost liberty of what he/she wishes to do on skis, be it to hurl ones self of man made, or natural snow heaps in an effort to climb ever higher in the heavens, and/or to create a maneuver that will inspire all that look upon, and that will provide a satisfaction to the creator; or beit to slide unconventionaly down handrails and the like in an effort to increase ones experience on skis and to now move the discipline to new horizons, outside of its natural context.
