I love the Dead, everybody rips on them , but all you have to do is shuttup and listen. I was never a big fan of Pigpen but Greatful Dead rule. Arn't you that guy in Freeze they hassled for liking the Dead?

yeah the Dead are amazing. I got to sailing with them when they came to Buffalo NY this summer. The signd my guitar too.

yeah...Cody Raisig gives me shit about liking the Dead in that Plake's Pick. They are so good though...all you have to do is listen to them for a little bit and even if you hated them before you will grow to like them. They are musical geniouses.

there cant be a favorite, its the band as a whole that makes them so great. i saw the dead at summerfest and it was an incredable show, i just wish i could have been blessed enough to see them as the grateful dead. but i was to young (16 as of now) and i dont have rents that would go to a show and take me back then so i had to find the magic of the grateful dead on my own

I'd have to say that Peggy-O is one of the greatest songs, even though I don't think that they wrote the lyrics. Also, Black Muddy River, Standing On the Moon, Uncle John's Band, Loser, and about 100 others. They are too good to be classified in order from first to last
