infinity ward needs to get rid of the fucking assault riffles. Every game its just acr, famas, m16 and scar. Snipers and SMGs suck compared to the power and the long range accuracy of the ARs. What the point of sniping when you can just hold down the trigger of the ACR and every bullet lands on the same spot. In mw1 at least there was recoil to offset the power and make long range shot hard. now every AR is just fucking cheap and requires no skill.

Why try sniping or using an SMG and going 1:1 when you can whore an AR, camp and go 5:1 every game? /rant
 
Well, the biggest thing to the ARs in MW2 I think has to do with the maps. I mean none of them are truly super small like Shipment was which was Shotgun and SMG tailored map or like that weird Zshape map or that one with the creek in the middle (can't remember the names) that were very long range orientated. A lot of MW2 is up close or completely mid range which creates a huge problem.
 
they made the game way too easy for anyone to be good at. it's noob friendly and pisses me off. it's like there is a crutch for everyone so that everyone is pretty good. only thing i don't like about the game.
 
you can't. if you really want to change it you have to create a NEW playstation network name, which will effectively start you over again from the very beginning. it sucks, i know.
 
I camp when using my Intervention or Barrett.... unless it is wasteland then I just run in circles around the hedge with my machine pistol out until I see someone in the distance.
 
The ACR is so fucking good it is insane, I did prestige and had to use the fucking Famas and the Scar and they just cant compete. Also did they change the range on the last shotgun 1894 or whatever. It seams like it is not as far as it was which was cheap as shit.

Also if you hate campers play headquarters.
 
ACR is the shit, the scar is a close substitute (also prestiged and hating not having the acr) but ive been liking the aa12 shoty lately, auto shotgun + unsuspecting noobs = win.
 
ya I never used that before prestige but its pretty decent. Seams like i get a lot more 1 shot kills than I did with the striker. I think I still like the striker more though. Its almost like it scares people when you start unloading on them even from a distance, and they cat hit you.

I also hate not having claymores. I hate camping but with scavenger you can keep dropping claymores behind and never get flanked which I fucking hate.
 
I love this game. It is the first FPS game I've played, so I'm a few years behind everyone, but it's still really fun. I not that good, but slowly but surely working my way up. My gt is zerospinskier.
 
the holographic zooms in more and is more of a red circle that, you can see inside the circle. it is also consistent on every gun.

the red dot zooms in just a little bit and you have to put the red dot on the enemy. It differs between guns and sux on some guns aka TAR
 
Afghan is the only map I can get a positive KDR with a sniper rifle. I use either the cliff above the downed plane or one of the bunkers.
 
He doesn't. He will sit in one spot, get two kills... and then move. COD:MW2 maps are too small to be a camping sniper like you could be in the first one.

no, people buy jtagged xbox's and mod how much xp you get for a kill, open a public lobby and each headshot= 2.75 mill points, aka 1 prestige.
 
i heard ppl just go into games with rpd's and riot shields and fire whole clips into each other to rack up points

try that?? itll take you many hours tho
 
The only gun l use is the intervention. l just won't let go of my sniper rifle, since l used the awesome m40a3 in COD4. That was the only gun l used back then. Now in MW2 l use the intervention, it's definitely not as good as the m40, but it wrecks if you practise a lot with it. l found this video, the guy is rediculous!
 
That was pretty good. I've got a sniper almost that good on my clan. It's not always the best way to go though. You die a lot because one missed quick scope screws it all up. I'd rather run around with my AR.
Btw, just a little survey. What system do you all play on, and what's your KDR and WLR?
I'm on the PS3, KDR is 2.51 and my win/loss is 2.96.

ahhh the joys of console aim assist, Ive tried this on pc very hard. I lol at the guy saying he was aim botting though. Since mw2 is riddled with hackers on pc because of no dedi servers I get called a hacker at least 5 times a day. If anyone is looking for a good HC snd class though ump45 silenced, rafficca fmj, marathon pro ,lightweight pro and ninja pro. On another note is it possible to hack on the xbox? I didn't think it was.
