Yea probably one of the sickest endings ever. I could totally see them doing a third but cant imagine what else could go wrong in the world. Malkrov escaped though right?
 
i don't think i've ever had more than 20 deaths on a map other than shipment

i've been pwning so hard with the mp5k red dot on invasion...idk why nobody uses that gun but it's sick
 
I'm pretty sure if you leave it counts as a loss and you don't get any points for your kills either. It's pointless to quit.
 
What I want to see is online content available for download as opposed to a whole new game. As someone said above they would have to change the whole game mechanic in the next installment IMO for the series to not become a little stale and redundant. However there's way too many plot holes for there not to be some form of follow up to this game.

What they really could/should have done was include longer cut scenes in the game. It would have made the campaign longer, less confusing and more captivating. Kind of like MGS.

Anyways, a few questions about the campaign. Was Price under orders to launch the missile or did he do it for other reasons? Did the nuke hit or was it just detonated in the sky to create the EMP? Why was Price locked up in the gulag? Were Sheperd and Makarov working together at any point?

i'm pretty sure you have to aim more in h3 than in cod4, especially if you play hardcore on cod4.
the ranking system in cod4 is the shittiest thing in the world compared to halo 3's ranking system, which is decent but could be improved on many levels
if you realllly want a game that takes any sort of skill at aiming or strategy at all, play counter strike
i wanna debate so someone try to counter that
 
oh and i don't favor h3 or cod4, they're both meant for consoles which instantly makes them 10 times worse
 
Day of Defeat over Counterstrike. I personally like the maps better. Plus, there isn't the damn glass floor map either.
 
you get points for your kills but it counts as a loss and you don't get a match bonus

its not a bad thing, and you still get the xp, just not the bonus. my win ratio is so bad because i leave games a lot, not just because i'm doing bad, but whenever i have to go somewhere i don't finish my game, i just turn my xbox off

sometimes it's between quitting the game early or breaking my controller because i'm so mad...easy choice
 
yeaa they are, but i'm gonna straight up say the level of play in source is higher than DOD
i've played that game for fun and went 50-5 the first go, but it's still neat witht he class thing

Meh COD is fun to just pick up and play but no one cares about winning. The only goal is to get experience by doing stupid shit like falling to your death. Unless you are playing with a group of kids who know whats up you end up just trying to get the most kills.

Halo is much better IMO because everyone wants to win even in social games, there is much less camping and the online play is much better. You rank up for being good not for doing stupid challenges.

Also you can play Halo with a buddy on the same screen online.

Shooters on the computer are a whole different world. The playing field is not level, in that people can have different computers mouses monitors etc. Not really a big deal but also it is not the same environment. People treat CS like a job. Not as fun way higher skill. Console FPS is the way to go if you want to have fun. If you want to get really pissed and put 100+ hours into a game just so you can compete play CS.
 
to be fair though, in COD, ranking up means unlocking weapons, which needs to be accessible to all players.
 
Is someone possibly later tonight with the PS3 version willing to do some Spec Ops with me? They get boring in single player.

haven't played cod4 on pc, but i heard it's crazy
i played a cracked version and got bored cause it was too easy
and i've been playing source for over 4 years, three seasons of cal under my belt and first cevo season started, we were #1 until today haha cause it was just the first match, i'll even link ya

is the m16 3shot burst? that was sorta gay how the cod4 one only shot 3 round bursts. it raped of course, but it still made me not have as much fun with it

Looking for a stealth class. I was stoked when I got the heartbeat sensor on the RPD but it turns out its just really gimp rid a silencer on. The SCAR-H works really well with a silencer and heartbeat sensor but it doesn't have enough ammo. Has anyone tried the FAMAS with the silencer on?
 
Outside of showing up on the map the FAMAS is really damn quite as is. But it could be my TV too cause my TV is super weird with its volume.
