although it's another zombie movie in the sea of zombie movies, it looks pretty damn good. definately gonna check it out.

Pretty good movie although everyone here will think it's a ripoff of 28 Days Later which was a ripoff of the original Crazies, amongst other movies. Kill scenes were fairly solid and the sequel should be epic.
 
Its a different medium, movies will never be like books

It's unfair to compare them. Movies are completely visual and work mostly with dialogue and visual uses. Books are more in touch with a characters thoughts, everything is brought into detail through different devices of language.

Just thought I'd say, since I always see comments like this from people about movies.
 
My review

I saw it last night. It was pretty good but the main character got saved from a second of death like 3 times. It wasnt the scarriest but it was pretty sick haha.
 
^ haha yeah thats my plan. maybe not today though. i gotta see. it looks fuckin deep for a zombie flick. zombieland was awesome. proves a lil charactor depth ain't a bad thing.
 
I saw last night, I thought it was one of the worst movies ever. It was so predictable and most of the time I had no idea what was going on plot wise. So yea I didn't much enjoy it, and plus it killed my buzz

 
I went to it last night expecting a horrible movie like what most of these types of movies are... However, It was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be... Predictable, but kinda suspenseful and interesting. Definitely not a great movie but it was decent.
 
such a good movie... who has seen it... saw it with my gf like 2 weeks ago and she was digging her head into my chest the whole time but shes a wimp anyways good movie i give it at 9 out of 10
plot was creative and not really zombie ish also food for thought... was the military tracking the guy and his wife at the end cuz at the end when they reached the next town a little box popped up saying begin quarintine (sp?)
anyways i recomend it and now its 2 38 in the morn so im off to bed... goodnight ns

my review
i thought it was ok but then started getting kind of boring, not as scary as i wished, and horrible ending.
SPOILER ALERT
pointless ending is pointless. they get nuked, flip like a billion times in a tractor trailer truck, and stand up like they're fine and nothing happened
 
i watched it sober and not not sober it was shitty both times, even from two differnet prespectives the movie was pretty brutal to me, generic plot, shitty ending.
