The cool telemark sh*t thread

my new bindings

bombers are sick bindings too, def worth it if you can find a way around the $300 price tag. but they are pretty much indestructible so its a lifetime investment.

7tm POWER - yeah, baby!

on Volkl Mantras. Hopefully, get some good boots too in November in Oslo.

Depending on what the ortho says tomorrow I'll either be in France and switzerland skiing Jan/Feb/Mar

...or in frikkin physio with my knee in plaster (f*ck, f*ck, f*ck!)

haha, that sucks... illhave the ol fingers crossed. switzerland is supposed to have good surgeons... maybe you could ski all season & spend the summer there onan operating table? just a thought

teleing is so much fun haha its good on the down days not nearly as fun as alpine but its nice to try new things every now and then.

if my eyes serve me right, those are 7tm powers. new flex point for more power in turns.

but yea, keep up the props to the telemarkers. we need it. people give us shit alot for teleing. i dunno, find it somewhat lame just in the park, but we kill it on big mountain.

THE KNEE'S OK - thank f*ck

soft tissue injury = physio for 4 - 6 weeks

Just in time for Alpe d'Huez followed by Serre Chevalier and then Zermatt - heh heh heh

I reckon if you got scottybob to make up some skis specifically for pinning it and cover them in flouro wax they'd be plenty fast.

Back side bowls, front side kickers, backcountry touring, backwards in the park, the HeadRush is a true quiver of one.

why are physio's always so hot? Saw mine for the first time today and she's smokin' Good thing I was face down for 30 minutes.

sweet - what can I say, I'm bored and can't sleep

Got the call today depart UK 11 dec for alpe d'huez (massive grin) - I'll only get to tele on the off days as I'll be alpine race training though

what the hey it's still skiing - yeah baby

wtf.... is this not a skiing website. your post makes no sense. and if you are refering to NS as a "park" site there are a but load of people who tele in the park

because it was in norway it started..by sondre nordheim in the 19th century, in a region in norway called telemark. so now you know.

I've been teleing my whole life, before I started with the park thing. it's so sick!

who cares - lift served and telepark/pipe is just as much fun

scottybob prefers corduroy because "you can get more turns"

and if he can come up with these skis then who am I to disagree

theres a 10 year old kid at our resort who telemarks chronic minis. hes pretty bad ass. i can tell hes gonna get all the ladies.

then why dont you do it.

seriously. bindings cost like 150. if you wanna go big and expensive, at most they cost 350.

you dont have to buy new tele specific skis. in fact, for riding you probably do, youd be safe with alpine skis, or else a few twin tip skis from karhu and K2.

and boots, you can find em at ski swaps or on ebay. just make sure to try them on new in a store to see how they fit you. each brand fits diffrently.

wide foot- Garmont

normal/medium skinny- Scarpa

narrow/medium-Crispi
