The Bunch: Color - an honest movie review

I started lurking in 2007 and made an account in 2008, and then I made this current account in 2010. I remember it was absolutely ruthless back in those first few years, but in a mostly good way! Some of the greatest laughs came from those threads

Yeah certainly a societal change, NS was quite savage in the early 2000s

Or the mods going on a banning spree because a bunch of n00b pussies kept complaining about naughty words.

Most people get banned for racial or homopgohom slurs, which have been against the rules for a long time, but early times on NS were certainly less strict, but we're talking about 20 years ago when the internet was actually anonymous.

COLOR wasn't my thing. I quit watching after a couple of minutes. But I appreciate skiers and filmmakers doing something different, even if some people hate it.

Seems I’m a little late to this party but i thought it was meh. B-roll is only so good for so long and I don’t like having to sit through 3+ minutes of no skiing at a time. At this point the whole artsy thing is just feeling kinda forced, I’m not against the B-roll and non skiing elements but there should be a balance when less than half of a ski movie is skiing.

i just wanna go back to the triple F days man

Barely watch ski movies anymore because of everything looking the same, and I haven't looked at The bunch latest projects either. I'm glad I took the time to watch Color. The first part accompanied with the song Genesarets sjö is simply beautiful. I could easily accept 30 percent less skiing just to see more smiling faces, hugs and if im not mistaken Kjell himself watching surf clips on an iPhone. And even if nothing can top that part, the rest was pretty damn near. I didn't watch a ski movie, I watched a vibe and an emotion. Salute!
