Ive searched long and far in the depths of Newschoolers forums for the past couple months and I've decided that today was the day id let NS know about a band they call Broken Bells. The band consists of James Mercer of The Shins and Brian Burton of Gnarls Barkley and Dangerdoom. Burtons also the producer of the gorrilaz and beck. Awesome colaboration. To me it sounds like a combination of the gorrilaz and the white stripes. Have a listen...

These guys and Mumford & Sons are on my radar right now for making amazing music. Nice to see really talented artists on the radio lately.
 
same shit whatever. My head hurts and i felt it was a repost anyway.

Not the most epic album to ever show up. People love everything that's new then move onto the next thing. Not saying it's a bad album it's decent, but not mind blowing. And somebody had to have posted a thread before since videos have popped up in music threads for a while. And everyone on hear has heard about them.

The shins were better.
 
ive been listening to them a lot recently on the raido, had no idea a dude from the shins was in the band
