i just wanna know why its called the breakfast club, what does that have to do with kids in detention?

AWESOME movie. i love it. sooo classic.

the message is a little more complex than just happiness and acceptance. it's saying that beneath our outward appearance not only do we want the same thing but we are all similar people. the same insecurities and fears as well as happiness. inside each of us we are all dorks, jocks, rebels...blahblahblah just like the speech at the end.

but ya, good movie.

I just bumped a 3 year old thread...

I just saw this movie a few days ago and it's definately on my top 5 movie list. Something about John Bender is amazing.

 
i watched that movie a few years ago and remembered i liked it.. maybe its time to see it again...
