I got a little insider info

they got two models but the main one is a 100 underfoot 180 length and is stiffer then gen 1 and 2 jets. They also made an exclusive 190 but they are selling like 3 pair or something and it has a different graphic than the 180

they’re also 96s, i believe pbone has his own custom 180 x 96

Saw a pair of Jets on my first day skiing at Sunday River this year. Prolly like November 24/25th. First time I'd every seen a pair irl and kinda wish I asked the kid how he got them because I didn't realize how rare they are. Bet he was a homie

discounted icelantics

Non symmetricality in icelantics, so no they can’t truly compare to any current icelantics on the market for me.

but too many kids are fried out and literally fucking dumb enough to not know or tell a difference, and just wanna trend follow because that’s the only thing they know how to do. The older I get the more I realize how many actual dumb fucking people there are in the ski world, especially with skiers who’ve “made a name” for theirselves.

Stupidest fucking thing I’ve seen all week, people like you are (partially) what turns a company from cool to cringe

See but Unironically spray painting Jet graphics onto an ON3P ski is hysterical and pretty sick. Like ngl I’d rock a pair of the bootleg jets any day of the week. Talk about not taking skiing seriously- nothing screams that more than bootleg jets.

I'm with Patty I think it's funny. Fuck the "cool club" that jetskis is, let's make a knockoff brand where all the topsheet are spray paint.

Cuz they don't exist

Out of curiosity, what are jetskis actually like? I've never seen a review or anyone on NS actually saying anything serious about how they ski.

They’re actually pretty fun. Pretty much a lighter, softer on3p. Good amount of rocker shape and lots of tip flare, not flat tips like vishnus have. Although they only measure to 177, there’s still enough ski under you to ride with power if that makes sense. Incredibly fun to butter, press, nollie because of the softer flex out in the extremities of the ski + the large tip/tail rise. Much easier than stiffer skis like on3p, or skis like Vishnus where your tips get caught in the slush in the process of a nollie or something.

width is a preference thing, but 125-95-125 is a perfect dimension for me. Truly they’re the most fun ski I’ve ever ridden. Disclaimer, I’ve never ridden an actual pair of jets, but I’ve ridden Icelantic Danollies all season, and they’re identical skis other than the topsheet texture.

Finally, thank you.

Also the symmetrical shape is clutch, switch riding and carving on those feels so good.
