has anybody ever stayed there? im looking at a trip to tahoe, and the prices dont seem too steep, so, any reviews? and will a skier get totally bashed by staying there?
 
just show up and get some shitty motel room. they are everywhere and arent that bad. and they are cheap. if you want a nice vacation then go the the resort at squaw
 
THEY DONT CARE ABOUT SKIERS, THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT CARE ARE SHITTY SNOWBOARDERS (I WOULDNT LEAVE MY SKIS ON THE ROOF RACK THOUGH) ENJOY THE UNDERAGE KEGGERS ON MOST NIGHTS
 
CORRECTION it's SOUTH lake tahoe that sucks.....the BLOCK just got remodeled and it's way better than it used to be.....Make sure you get one of the second floor rooms...but all the rooms have playstation
 
Really overpriced. Stay at the Super 8, it is 80 dollars less and pretty equivalent. The only good thing about the Block is their misting shower heads and PS2. Other than that it is really not that cool, unless you want to act cool, then stay there. Hey, MFM, improve your shit before you charge that much, oh and go fuck yourself!
 
you can find a few motels for $30/night along the border in south lake. what more do you need than a bathroom and bed?
 
Rent an airstream trailor in kings beach for a week. Its like 50 bucks. All you have to do is know like.. the slightest bit of spanish though, because its pretty much like youre living in mexico... like... seriously Kings Beach should be renamed La Playa de los Reyes (kings beach in spanish) because it is like 80% spanish speaking... wicked.
 
The Block is an over priced moldy 1960 hotel, redecorated with some posters and the occasional x-box. The place is OVER PRICED, horribly furnished and possibly the worse hotel in all of South Lake.

But you can get free stickers and a reach around from MFM if you are lucky
 
its not that bad, and its pretty cheap all things considered.

whoever ssaid you can party without getting busted doesnt party hard enough, I've been told to shut up every time I've stayed there...
 
So is the MFM reacharound included in the room price or is it like some kind of hidden tax? I would agree that the place is pretty much a chinzy remodeled overpriced dump, but at least you can party there and be loud. Too bad it's run by fat pockets "look I'm still ghetto " Montoya
 
That is what you pay the $80 dollars for. But yea, these gimmicky motels might work in Japan, but that shit will not fly here when people see how shitty they are. I assume the main point he made it is that he can comp his friend's rooms there and take it as a business expense.
