The Black Keys

They started about 20 minutes from my house. They always come back and play the sickest shows for their hometown. (Akron OH)
 
This, he's pretty awful, but hey, The Black Keys wouldn't sound the same without him, just like The White Stripes. Incidentally two of my favourite bands.

Listening to The Big Come Up at the moment, pity they never play it live, easily my favourite of their albums, that or Thickfreakness.
 
most hip hop songs change up the drums in a song more than the black keys drummer does. I can't even fathom how somebody could be physically playing/writing drum parts and thinking "this sounds good, I think I'll play the exact same thing for 4 minutes!"

I agree with the other guy, super bland and not my type of music.
 
Listen to their first 2-3 albums, just pure blues rock, they've only gotten commercial recently in my opinion.
 
You literally have no idea what you're talking about. Most songs have the same tempo the whole song. The drummer definitely needs a metronome, but I really like the black keys sound
