The BIGGEST RIVALRY in sports

Fuck Michigan and Ohio State..I hate them both, Not sure who I hate more. Granted I go to MSU so it's a given we hate them.

But for biggest all time I'd have to probably say Yankees vs. Red Sox. USA vs Russia is a pretty big one too though.
 
osu vs michigan, none of yo know how big it is unless you've been at um or osu during these games, theres a week of festivity at osu before the game
 
Ya but it seems like every year Simon throws down better and somehow ends up losing. I think the judges play wayyy to big a part in that. Its a very hard sport to judge, but I thought Simon killed it last year.

P.S. Being a proud Canadian hockey fan I gotta mention Habs vs. Leafs and Canada vs. Russia from a couple decades ago.

Florida vs. Florida state is huge in football. Also, Denver broncos and Oakland Raiders, thats huge too.
 
have you never heard of the 1972 summit series? by far the biggest most famous series in hockey and probably up there with some other rivalries in other sports

Basically any of the original 6. Tor vs Ot. is the battle of ontario like flames vs oilers is the battle of Alberta same thing.
 
in north america got to be sox and yanks. but over in europe and in south and central america there are some crazy soccer rivalrys that get out of hand fast.
 
This is the single dumbest question ever. It doesnt matter how much each individual feels their rivalry's importance or intensity. What only matters is the BIGGEST and thus the quantity of people involved in hype or fanhood. And the answer is simple: RED SOX vs YANKEES.

Idiots are going to point out some soccer rivalry because they think oh, soccer, or 'football' is the most popular sport in the world and w/e rivalry is in futball must be the biggest! WRONG. Redsox yankees is easily the biggest.

Sox Yankees for me cuz I live outside of Boston but UNC Duke is a close second because Duke is my favorite college basketball/lacrosse team.

My high school is the most longest running public high school rivalry in the us my senior year which is next year is gonna be the 110th meeting
