I just like my ski's to have certain features. Rental ski topsheets and obvious blem's aren't on the list. And I have never seen a ski come out of the Neversummer factory without what I would consider a blem.

I also enjoy bamboo.

I enjoy bamboo too, so I understand the sentiment. I’ve got some RMUs pressed out of NS and they’ve got a pretty good build quality. No rental topsheet either. I think NS makes some quality stuff but, ofc, I’m just going off my one isolated experience.

But I will say, I am probably in the epicenter of Icelantic skis. Literally like 1/3 of every person at Loveland has Icelantic or Liberty. It’s insane. General consensus seems to be positive

Those aren’t that bad. It’s moreso the newer Icelantic designs I don’t like. I’m not a minimalist, I appreciate a wild design here and there. 2 of my skis are pretty out there graphic wise
