Even DFresh hasn't said anything about the RDS vid. very sick, good history. Colin McKays (in my opinion, the Mickael of Skateboarding... or maybe Mickaels the McKay of Skiing) seg is chronological which is fun cause its got some stuff of him and Danny Way hangin out as super youngins.

While this may be very unfair because of the time/experience advantage they have on us, i think that all ski filmakers (myself included, as amateur as i may be) should strive to edit shit as well as skate vids. you watch Ryan Smith's seg in RDS, every fucking thing is edited to flow with one of the best written rock n roll songs of all time, Paradise City!

The Cameron Crowe of the ski industry, just watch...
 
word i mentioned that pj ladd vid before in this thread.. so good. i really liked the editing in photosynthesis. the editing and filming in transworld anthology was really good too.

from what i've seen, the editing in skate vids is much better than that in ski vids. plus the music is better. i really liked the soundtrack in dying to live because it has so many different kinds of music.

hahah no none of the cky's count, they got some good footage of bam, and getz, but the transworld vids like modus, sight unseen and all those are the best for seeing new cutting edge skating.... the RDS vid is SICK as well, moses has a sick section...
