Well, hurt myself again. Compressed my sternum an inch into my chest. Hurts to breathe.

Ouch. Will it get back to normal by itself, or do you need some kind of surgery?

I was born with a birth defect on my chest. The center is pushed in like two inches, or something like that. I'm used to it, so I don't know if I'm being affected by it. Really hurts my looks, though, as if they're not bad enough already. It turns out that others have this same thing, too, so I'm not alone.

The chest deformity is called pectus excavatum. There are two different surgeries that can be done to fix it. If your friend is interested, I can give a link to a good site where he can learn more about it.

 
i have the opposite of what you have d00d. My protrudes like 3 inches more than normal...well did anyway, it sorta looks normal now!

I double released off the top of a roller and landed chest first on the other side...which is about 25 feet lower than the top of it.

yep i'm hurt too. i dislocated my sholder 6 inches out of its socket last night and couldent get it back in for 4 hours. it was the worst pin of my life. i just got back from my deep bone and tissue bruse in the begining of the year and my apendacitis in the middle. this is the worst season ever. it was muddy last night with dirt patches. its FRBUARY! lol. this is the worst season ever

My buddy did that on his mountain bike slammed his sternum in the middle of his handle bars on a big drop. now he has this huge lump on his chest it's kinda funny ha ha he's a freak. That is what you have to look forward to yeti a life of being a freak. but a good freak at least you aren't a hairy midget.
