The best of Vail

Hey guys, so in early January, me and a couple of friends are heading out to vail for a week. The mountain is huge, so i was wondering if any of you who have been there or live there have any tips or trails we should definitely hit. Thanks!

dude knows what hes talkin about, blue sky basin is the shit, it just takes a while to get back there (take sleepytime road all the way there). im also a fan of inner/outer mongolia bowl with that little rope tow over there. the park is dope too. chair 4 cliffs, hit those
 
ouzo and ouzo glades usually doesn't get skied off very fast, all the stuff off chair 11 is fun, only in the early morning before it gets crowded, you got to race your friends threw hairbag alley at least once!!!!! cloud 9 is fun as hell to ski switch, champagne glades is good. its a sick mtn to explore with your friends, just go get lost and have a good time. you will never ski the same stuff the whole week your there!! just avoid chair 4 and 11 sometimes 5 when there crowded. ask the red coats where there are no crowds if your having that problem. vail has like 38 lifts all high speed quads, you won't have trouble getting in a sick day!
 
blue sky basin is over rated

try to hit some frontside shoots or northwestern bowl(chair 11 area)

always has the best snow

really the best snow will be anywhere hidden

maybe try to follow someone who looks like they know where they are going

 
blue sky basin is NOT overrated. chair 11 and 9 are where its at. I enjoy China bowl as well. have fun vail is the shit . skiing there lets you forget everything, its a world in itself. I'm heading out there mid january.

pray for snow!
 
this is my second season out here and i know lots of good stashes. message me before you all get out here and i'd be happy to show you guys some good stuff
 
hey im going to Vail, january 4th-8th.... maybe i'll hit u up, cuz i went there last year and we were tryin to find the local stashes and only came across a couple areas. we mainly stayed at blue sky basin, which was absolutely InSANE!
 
ya ive been skiing vail for the latter part of my skiing life and would be down to show you stashes as well as some BC stuff around vail
im not on newschoolers as much anymore mostly on TGR but message me and I will give u an answer
and to whoever said dragons teeth is sick well no and there are so many better ones with such better line that look like your in British Columbia
 
ill be there the 9th either give me a call (pm for digits) or message me while in vail
i would take you out on the horseshoe lookers right of blue sky, some nice cliffs and tree runs we just need the snow to calm down
