The Best Fantasy Freeride Thread Ever!!!

So I finished in 63rd place and was thinking I might have an outside chance of picking up some token prize...

Anyone know:

1) if freeskier will be competent enough to issue prizes?

2) whether or not they will ship my prize to the uk?

3) that the whole of the yellowstone national park is a super-volcano (Caldera) that is due to erupt. last time it did, the whole of north america was buried under 2m of ash and an ice age lasting 15000 years ensued (600000 years ago). That was a funny geography class- when it happens again, North America will cease to exist and the ice age will bring sick skiing to the rest of us!!
 
At 63rd place you will be lucky if you recieve prizes. I finished around 50th last year and got a XS Kirkwood tee that I don't even think I could have fit into if I tried. I didn't really expect anything though with the place I came in so I was more than happy.
 
as a geography major, i can certainly verify #3. although, it isn't likely to happen again...the supervolcano was blown apart by it's own eruption.

as far as the others...usually top 50 get prizes. and if they do ship you a prize, you'll pay shipping, most likely. but i doubt you'll get a prize.

in conclusion, fantasy freeride was whack this year. terrible.
 
national geographic shows some documentary on that supervolcano thing every once in a while...pretty intense
 
i swear i see a show on the supervolcano every other week..maybe that means something? please blow up so i can ski in summer. thanks god
 
sorry to raise the alarm about the supervolcano- i just was thinking about it at the time... saw a horizon thing on it- apparently it goes every 600 000 years and the last time it went was like 600 800 years ago and the land above the magma chamber is kinda bulging to such an extent that a lake has emptied! sounds like fun...
 
fantasy freeride was kind of bad this year. i mean, don't get me wrong, i'm glad they put it on, but they could have made it way better by

* giving a list of who's competing in each event

*updating points more frequently

*and not having trading closed at random times.

still, it was fun. i'll do it next year. but if they did that first thing on my list it would make me happy.

I will be an ungrateful asshole all I want. They seriously FUCKED UP Fantasy Freeride this year. For like the 2nd have of the season you couldn't pick athletes for like half of the events. Stupid shit.
 
wow...i just checked and apperently at one point i was 73rd and i quit after the Xgames. i finished 200 something
