haha, john, although much more of a crazy ass and a badass, he is not better than peart, technically, peart is a step above almost every other drummer

 
not the best drummer, but if you listen to some Fleetwood Mac's songs. I think his name is Mick Fleetwood but I could be wrong, he can do some wierd, crazy-ass beats on the drums. allmost sounds like backwards beats.

i really like danny carey a lot. but i think all the other guys in here are good at what they do. they all have different styles and it would be hard to decide who is better.

my personal favorite would be danny carey though.

Niel Pert is amazing. We own "Rush in Rio" (A concert in Rio) And he has the most amazing drum solo in it. It's like 20 minutes long and I didnt get bored once the whole time. He is so fucking good

I'm not too sure on drummers, but Travis Parker is good, but I think Larz from Metallica is one of the best.

if we were to judge by the thrash/metal/death metal categorys, id say larzs if far down the list...although still quite good. The drummer from lamb of god or slipknot bet the shit outta larzs. still though, the drumer i made the link to up there^^^^^^ , is by far one of the most technical , inovative, and pretty damn fast drummers out there. but, i dont know how we are judgeing. by writing ability, technique or what.

you people piss me off when you say things like travis barker and brandon s from atreyu. yes they are sick drummers but they are not the best drummers in the world. you cant compare them at all to drummers like keith moon. steve gadd, dennis chambers, virgil donati, ginger baker, buddy rich, jim chapin,among others. and if any of you dont agree with me, explain yourself.
