The Battle? Skiing v Snowboarding

I am writing a paper on the relationship between skiers and snowboarders and i have to get the opinion of both sides. So i was wondering if you guys could give me your opinions on the battle? When did the fued begin? What casues and perpetuates it and give me stoires and examples of things you have seen on and off the slopes betwen skiers and snowboarders! Thanx alot

i think it just started because snowboarding was new and lots of people (excpt old men who like to cruise the greens all day long ,and kids who just stayed with it )strted doing it and its was the cool thing to do for a while
