the bases of my chronics

i just got em from getboards two weeks ago...and realized that the bases are black....all the pictures i see of em are white...does it have to do with the which size i got? i got the 177cm

Line switches the base colors around on all their models to save dye- it's nothing out of the ordinary. For example, some Pollards have black letters and yellow bases, others have black bases and yellow letters. Same thing with the 1260s.

yeah, they switch it around so they use an equal amount of dye. cause there's THAT much white, and this much black on the bases, so they need to balance it out by switching the colors around how-many-ever pairs of skis.

Its even luckier when you get one black and one white. If you get all black then your skis explode on snow

thats a good idea, but weird. and thats why my pollards are black with yellow. thanks for the info.
