The Bacon vs. The STL vs. Public Enemy vs. The Silencer vs. The AK Rocket vs. The Equip GC Race

Holy crap. I hope you are making this thread as a joke, as only the STL and Silencer fit into the same category. This would make for an interesting quiver.
 
well i mean they are all twin tips. so they pretty much compare right? and this is serious. im not sure what to get.
 
Holy fuck. I don't know where to start.

I have not skiied any of these, so my suggestions are simply based on what I know of the ski.

The Bacon is a soft snow ski, and probably because of its flex it will not handle well at speed on chop. The STL and Silencer are both park skis, and do a great job of this although the Silencer is about $200 cheaper and has rivets in it. The Public Enemy can do pretty much anything, and has proven itself as a bomber ski. The factory mounting is suspect, so make sure you take a look at mounting before you send them in. The AK Rocket is a huge pow ski with a swallow tail, and thus will not do so well switch. I don't think it would work too terrific in the park either.

You still haven't suggested what you will use the ski for, your ski style or your height and Weight, so we really don't have much to go on.
 
well i just cruise groomers really. i think the bacon looks the coolest. so im leaning that way.
 
That's a really good call on your part, because in the end, you only talk to chicks on chairlifts or when you're holding your skis, thus making the way your skis look of paramount importance.
 
i think i can handle the bacon. i can hold an edge pretty well. so im not sure if your trying to diss me.
 
pe's for cruising groomers. if your not gonna be doing bc stuff dont get bacons, trust me, its crazy soft, and wont do too well on groomers, plus if all you do is ski groomers and you dont do park stuff or good bc stuff your not cool enough for bacons.

The bacon's are definitely the way to go dude. They look so sick! Pollard is so sick too, he's so steezy!!! If you ride his skis you will be too.

no doubt he's extremely grateful for your enthusiasm and expertise on this, the most vexing of questions, but at the same time, like me, finds it pant-soilingly funny...
 
dynastar makes a green ski. some like the munchkin? chicks will dig the ski. so you should get it. but i hear they ski like shit. so skip out on that one man.
 
im just trying to decide on what ski. im not sure why that would make me the man. i thought ns would have helped me out. im also having girl trouble. so maybe i could get advice on life too.
 
you have 9000 posts, are a donator, and say all twins are the same? the bacon is wider, and better for pow and softer snow. The STL's are park specific, and silencers are all mountain. wowzers.
