Only one more week until before it is written in blood...

Anyone pre order the PS3 version and try the multi-player demo? If so how was it? I pre ordered for the Xbox so I didn't get it thank you very much Ubisoft...

My Co-Worker has a PS3 and said the multi player was amazing, I believe he said it was 'perfect,' and I can't wait!

I'll be getting it for sure. I'm still not super stoked though. The last one will be the banger one. I really want to know how they are going to finish the story. It could make such a good movie or book. They really have an awesome plot going.

Also, when I finished the 2nd one, when the alien creature/creator looked directly into the camera/animus during it's crazy speech, I almost shat myself. I had been playing the game for many hours, and it was like 4:00am. I thought he was actually talking to me. So awesome.

I played the first game and really liked it but haven't followed the franchise since. How did the second game compare to the first, gameplay and story-wise?

And so this new one... is a new full game but is a continuation of the second game, but there is still the final one to come? :S

to answer your question, no i havent played the mp demo

seen some videos, should be interesting

and i'm really looking forward to it single player alone

Yeah, you can consider this one to be 2.5. The 3rd and final one still won't be out until the end of 2012, since the story has to do with the end of the world.

Excellent. That gives me 2 years to catch up. And should give a well-polished final game too...
Anybody play these games on PC, how does the experience compare to playing it on the Xbox?

i used to play AC on my old gaming rig, it was pretty much the most incredible gaming experience. then again, i was running it at over 100fps on the highest graphics settings. if you have a good rig it's definitely better than the console, dunno how it plays on a regular setup though.

I played the second one to the end, the last chapter was kinda dumb imo because of the whole "magic" stuff. But the game was fun as hell so I'm for sure getting the new one. I hope they don't have a bunch of magic in it though, really hope it's not incorporated in combat then it's just gunna be like fable....sorta

I think it's really weird that all their marketing seems to be focused on the old part of the storyline. I think that is mostly for the gameplay and not very interesting at all. The parts that make the game interesting and awesome for me are the whole animus/Divinci code aspects of the story.

story wise the second one picks up right up where the first one left off. It has many great elements that I would consider movie worthy. Gameplay wise, it is also solid. You are able to swim which is a plus since it was annoying when you drowned in the first one. The game has no replay value though, once you've completed a mission, you can't go back and do it again. Brotherhood seems to be more about the multiplayer and not so much about the story.

IT'S HERE! I will post what I think of it after 3pm Central time.

RECAP: So far, the game is awesome. Outside of Multiplayer, they increased the game's replay value tenfold by allowing you to play missions over again, as well as adding a degree of difficulty to each mission by requiring you to follow specific guidelines in order to fully synchronize the memory.

I'm not liking that they made the hud smaller as it is hard to see on my 12 year old 20" TV.

I'm hopefully going to get it soon it looks so sick and i loved Assasin Creed 2 so I'm looking forward to this.

The 100% synchronization thing is annoying, If I kill everyone I am supposed to, but get 1 little scrape on my arm and the mission requires no health loss, I have to keep retying it until I do it without getting hurt at all. I don't like.

You start the game in 1500, Ezio is 40ish. Not sure of the timeframe, haven't beat the game yet.

If you're new and Brotherhood is your first AC game, you get a nice little recap intro video of Desmond's story when you start story mode.

I wasn't totally praising the Full Sych thing, it's annoying in Romulan Lairs where I have to complete it within 8 minutes. I absolutely hate time limits outside of racing games. It's also annoying when I have to go undetected as my LS stick is fucked. If I don't ease the stick into neutral, Ezio will jump out of whatever haybail he's in. But that's more of a personal issue than a game issue.

The coolest thing I've seen yet is in a mission when I was required to call in some recuited assassins to kill a guy. I was chasing him down the street, he turned a corner and...

BAM!

one of them fell from the sky and air assassinated him. Now I know how I look when I air assassinate people. Freaking awesome.

The multilayer is a little weird, but still pretty fun. You basically are assigned to assassinate another player, while someone else has you as a target. You get points for killing stealthily or with steeze (air assassination). Definitely worth playing just for something different.
